  • What is a typical session like?
We will fill out an intake form together so that I can get to know you and what you're looking to clear/heal, noting the intensity level from 0-10 for each issue. From there, I will muscle test for the core of the issue/s. Most often, the energetic side of things is the place to begin. As I work energetically, I will explain what I'm seeing and clearing, continually checking in with your higher self for the green light for the work that I do, and continuing to check on the intensity level of your original issue/s. Once this work is complete, we can then shift to tapping. I will walk you through the tapping points, and then you and I will tap together. Our goal is for the intensity level of each of your original issues to drop to a 0. Some issues are very quick to resolve, while others may require a bit more time to work through.
  • What is tapping and what can it do?
Tapping, aka, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is one of the most effective healing modalities I have yet to discover. Utilizing the meridian system like acupuncture, but without the needles, one simply taps on their own pressure points while activating stored emotions and limiting beliefs to release them. Tapping can help to release: Burnout, fears, phobias, grief, cravings, chronic stress, sadness shame, self-sabotage, blocks, and all manner of limiting beliefs.
  • Where are the tapping points?
Most of the tapping points are on the face, head, and hands. The remaining are on the upper body.
  • How does tapping work?
Tapping works by releasing blockages in your energy system that are causing physical or emotional disruption. By tapping on pressure points along the body's meridians while tuning into the source of the blockage (negative emotion, limiting belief, physical ailment) through guided conversation, the blockage is released. Research shows that tapping sends calming signals to the amygdala (the fight or flight center in your brain), reducing cortisol (the stress hormone released by the amygdala) levels in the body. Scientific research has found that it is more effective in releasing cortisol from the body than meditation, medication, or exercise.
  • Is there scientific research on tapping?
Yes. Research has been done on the effectiveness of using EFT to treat PTSD, anxiety.psychological and physiological conditions, and more.
  • Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately no, EFT is not yet covered by insurance. Because of it's effectiveness, it is becoming much more well-known and widely used in health care fields, and I look forward to the day that I can answer yes to this question.
  • Why flamingos?
Flamingos represent truth, balance, expressing your emotions, healing of the heart, and truly being your own unique self.
